How scoring works
- Missions, secret missions, votes and confessionals add points.
- The closer your crew’s points are to equal, the bigger the multiplier, up to x1.5.
- A crew needs 3 people who really played.
- Scores come from the real game. Nobody types them in.
Only university totals appear here. Your names, photos and invite codes stay off the board.

How to play

Get your people together
At least three adults, each with an iPhone and Loop installed. Pick a night and a 3, 4 or 6-hour season.

Add your crew to your university
Create your night in Loop. Come back here and paste its invite code to join the university race.
- 03
Play, then keep the film
Missions, votes and secret tasks turn the evening into a story. Scores update here automatically. Share the recap only with everyone’s permission.

What you’re playing for
A night made for your university.
The winning university gets a custom Loop night with campus-inspired missions, planned with Mate, plus an October winner badge on this page.
The real souvenir? A film of a night you actually spent together.
Prize & winner details
- The university with the highest final score wins. Its three best crews count, with at most one night per crew.
- Ties use participation balance first, then who reached the score earlier, then university ID. No draw, payment or App Store rating is involved.
- Nights must start 12–31 October, Budapest time. Crew claims close 2 November at 23:59 Budapest time. The verified winner is announced here on 4 November.
- One custom night is awarded to the winning university’s community. A representative contacts @loopfriendshow to agree the theme and a date with Mate. The app still supports 3–10 people per crew; the prize is not a paid tier or a new app feature.
- The badge appears beside the winning university in the final standings. It is a Loop challenge badge, not an official university or ESN award.

HOST KIT
How to host a night
Everyone installs before the evening.
Send this page to your crew. Everyone needs an iPhone on iOS 26 or later, Loop from the App Store, and the sign-in done (Apple or email, then name and age). Installing during the night kills the night.
Set up the night. It takes a few minutes.
On the Season tab tap Create a season (if you already have a crew it says Start a new season). Pick your crew or name a new one, then tap Next. Pick a vibe, then Next. For the length tap 1 night and 4h, for where pick Together, then Next. Name the season and tap Create season. Then share the invite link in your group chat.
Get at least 3 in the lobby.
The app won’t start a season with fewer than 3. 4 to 8 is the sweet spot. The first time you create or join a season, Loop asks about notifications. Say yes (Turn on notifications). That is how you hear a mission drop. Start the night when everyone is in the room. The first mission comes right away.
Phones face up, notifications on.
A mission drops about every 25 minutes and stays open for 30. Two surprise photo missions land at random moments, 10 minutes each. Some missions are secret and only you see them. Take photos and videos as you go, because the film is cut from them. There are two quick votes and one twist. Secrets come out when the night ends.
Watch the recap together, then post it.
When the night ends, open the recap. Loop cuts the film on your phone from the photos and videos you took. Give it a little time. Tap Save to Photos, post it, tag @loopfriendshow and add #LoopOctober. If the film isn’t ready, or it says Not enough to cut, use Share as an image instead.

If something goes wrong
The sign-in email code doesn’t arrive
Use Sign in with Apple instead.
Fewer than 3 in the lobby
Wait. The app won’t start a season with fewer than 3.
The invite link opened a web page
Install Loop, open it, tap Have an invite code? and type the code.
No mission pings
Open the You tab, then Notifications, and turn on Push notifications. If it says it is turned off in iOS Settings, open Settings, Notifications, Loop and allow them. Scheduled missions stay open 30 minutes. Surprise photo missions last 10, so watch the phone.
The film is still cutting
Give it a little time, or use Share as an image instead.
It says Not enough to cut
Too few photos or videos. Share as an image instead still works.

RULES
The rules
- Play one One-night season in Loop between Mon 12 Oct and Sat 31 Oct. The night must start by 23:59 Budapest time on 31 Oct.
- At least 3 people play, all 18 or older, all on iPhone. Together or Apart both count.
- Play the night to the end. The recap is your entry.
- Post the recap film or image on Instagram tagging @loopfriendshow (add #LoopOctober), or DM it to @loopfriendshow, by Mon 2 Nov 23:59 Budapest time.
- Post only if everyone in the crew is fine with it. Loop’s recap only includes people who opted in, but ask each other first. I only repost or feature a crew after it says yes in the DM thread, or shares with me through Instagram Collab or Remix.
- Nothing to buy. No reward depends on an App Store rating or review.
- No draws. I pick featured crews by hand from the complete entries that reach me by 12:00 Budapest time on announcement day. It’s my judgment call. A crew is featured once. If a round has no complete entry, I announce nothing. A late entry goes into the next round.

Questions
Do we have to be in the same room?
That’s the idea, and Together is the best way to play. Apart works too if you all play the same night.
Does everyone need an iPhone?
Yes, on iOS 26 or later. Android isn’t supported.
What if we’re only three?
Three is the minimum. Four to eight is the sweet spot.
Is anything public?
Loop doesn’t post anything for you. What you post is your call. Anyone with the invite link can join your season, so keep the link in your group chat. The recap only includes members who opted in, and confessionals and secret missions never appear in it.
The film won’t finish. What now?
Loop cuts the film from the photos and videos you take, on your phone, when you open the recap. Give it a little time. If it still isn’t ready, or it says Not enough to cut (too few photos or videos), use Share as an image instead, or screenshot the recap.
Nobody in my crew uses Instagram.
Ask someone who does to post it, or DM it to @loopfriendshow from their account.
